Student Visit Visa

What is the purpose of Student Visitor Visa:

This visa enables you to visit UK in order to undertake a research or attend a summer school course, a short Language Centre course, or for some senior doctors and dentists coming to the UK for teaching purposes or clinical practices etc.

Requirement of the Student Visitor Visa:

The main requirement is as follows:

1.   that you are genuinely seeking entry as a student visitor for not more then 6 months period.

2.   you have been accepted on a course of study in the UK. 

3.   you intend to leave the UK at the end of his visit.

4.   you do not intend to take employment in the UK

5.   does not intend to engage in business

6.   does not intend to prolong your stay. 

7.   you will be able to maintain and accommodate yourself and any dependants with the financial resources available to you or be maintained and accommodated adequately by relatives or friends

8.   you can meet the cost of the return or onward journey.   

Duration of the Visa:

It is issued for a period of 6 months.   You are not entitled to free treatment from the National Health Service (except in an emergency at Accident and Emergency in a hospital)

Where is my application submitted?

It is filed where the visa applicant currently lives that means if you are  it is filed at the local or nearest British High Commission/Embassy in the country where you are based.
